So, I did all this. Created a new user account. got exactly the same result "this file is not supported" (or whatever the message was as I mentioned earlier).
what gives? lol. My blood brother has Windows 7 and he was able to insert a photo (not adhere) in Gmail with no issue. Another colleague was able to insert photo equally well. It appears our settings in IE are the same.
need more ideas, please!!

one In my original post I mentioned I am using IE version 11.
two. In my original mail I said I have no problems using Firefox or Chrome.
3. I am not using Google Bulldoze. I am composing an electronic mail using Gmail and wish to insert a photograph (non attach via paperclip). see attached screen shot.

The event seems to be browser-specific as I tin insert an image using Firefox and Chrome. I do not know what Gmail setting would demand to exist fixed for it to work in IE. It is interesting that near of my colleagues in the Gmail Help Forum can insert an paradigm using the same operating system (Windows 7) and using IE xi. To me, that indicates there must exist a setting in IE that I and a handful of other Gmail users are missing. I posted my Cyberspace Options settings earlier in this mail. I am curious if anyone took a look at those settings to see what I may take missed.
